Willpower,

A fault we didn't trace...

Connected by more strands 

than we can count

But our faces never meet,

Cash over the counter

Mistakes we always repeat.

We always blame the stars

The ones fixed to our birth

Then we jinx our minds

And place mindless bets.

Why trust a government

When they'll dupe you all

Traces of madness 

Forgotten on political seats.

But still like magnets

We try to deny the call

When we created the sadness

On familiar voters sheets.

Cash over self power

Police with the power

#100 road pass

My mind couldn't look past.

We fall

We always do

But rising up

That should be a sealed deal.

I still watched

I watched from the back

But make no mistake

I can take you even from a dream state.
